Diego Fernández took on the role of CEO at Port Hotels in July 2024, bringing with him over 20 years of experience in hotel and tourism management. Prior to joining our chain, he played a key role at Palladium Hotel Group, where he served as Corporate Director of Revenue and Distribution, driving profitability and optimizing revenue management.
In addition, Fernández complements his professional expertise with a strong commitment to nurturing new talent as the Director of the Master's in Revenue Management at TuriSCool and as a professor in the Master's in Hotel Management at FORST.
This recognition underscores his innovative approach and ability to lead teams, which have positioned Diego Fernández as a benchmark in hotel management.
The award was granted by the consulting firm Sergestur (Tourism Management Services) as part of the sixth edition of its prestigious "150+ Influencers" list in the tourism sector. This list highlights professionals who make a difference through their impact, forward-thinking vision, and contributions to the development of tourism. The official presentation of this ranking will take place during Fitur 2025, one of the most important international events in the sector.
