On Friday, October 24, 2025, the La Taula restaurant at the Hotel Port Jardín Milenio will host a new edition of the Gastronomic-Literary Dinners, a series now established as a meeting point between culture and gastronomy in the city of Elche. On this occasion, the guest will be the writer Guillermo Alonso, who will talk about his book EL EFECTO DESEADO.
Organized in collaboration with the Elche-based Ali i Truc bookstore, the meeting maintains its intimate and exclusive format, with limited capacity, to foster close dialogue with the author. The evening will begin at 9:00 PM at La Taula, where attendees will enjoy a menu designed for the occasion while conversing with Alonso about his work and his career.
Guillermo Alonso has earned a place of his own in Spanish narrative for his incisive perspective and modern prose. In EL EFECTO DESEADO, his most recent book, he proposes an absorbing and contemporary read that invites reflection and conversation.
