Hotel Huerto del Cura elevates its gastronomic offering with a VIP breakfast created in collaboration with master pastry chef Fran Segura

Hotel Huerto del Cura, an iconic establishment thanks to its unique location in the heart of Elche’s Palm Grove, has announced its collaboration with Fran Segura, considered one of Europe’s finest pastry chefs and recipient of numerous awards, including Best Dessert in Spain (2013), Silver Medal at the Pastry World Cup (2022) and recognition for one of the Top Three Chocolate Cakes in the World (2024).
The aim of this partnership is to elevate the hotel’s breakfast experience by combining innovation, excellence, and the finest local ingredients.
Fran Segura will join the Hotel Huerto del Cura project, bringing his creative vision and expertise in signature pastry making. Through this collaboration, the hotel will introduce a VIP breakfast that celebrates local produce, the culinary roots of Elche, and the technical excellence of the master pastry chef.

This collaboration with Fran comes at a pivotal time in our business strategy, as we are enhancing the entire guest experience at the hotel. Breakfast is one of the most significant moments within that journey,” said Ana Mayor, Vice President of Port Hotels.
For his part, Fran Segura highlighted the importance of bringing together hospitality and haute cuisine: “My challenge is to contribute creativity and technique so that the breakfast at Hotel Huerto del Cura becomes a truly memorable experience. We have chosen to work with familiar local flavours, approached with innovation and excellence.”
With this initiative, Hotel Huerto del Cura reaffirms its commitment to gastronomy as a distinguishing element, promoting local talent and consolidating its position as a benchmark for hospitality and culture in the Valencian Community.
The VIP breakfast will be served at the hotel’s breakfast room, with table service, and also on the terrace next to the swimming pool. It will be available on weekdays from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m. and on weekends from 8:00 to 10:30 a.m.
