The Port Benidorm and Port Fiesta Park hotels have received the Accessible Tourism award, within the framework of the Benidorm City Accessible Tourism Plan.
Both hotels have carried out specific, previously audited actions to obtain this recognition. Among the measures adopted are the widening of doors and corridors, the modification of access points with ramps and accessible elevators, the installation of luminous emergency signs and alarm devices in restrooms, the implementation of specific table reservations in the Restaurant to provide quick and unobstructed access to the buffet, and the modification of elevator control heights, among others.
The goal of Benidorm's Tourism Accessibility Plan is to create a roadmap or action map that allows it to improve its positioning in the tourism market and consolidate itself as an inclusive, accessible, and socially responsible destination, guaranteeing equal opportunities for everyone.
