The Alicante Family Business Association (AEFA) recognizes Port Hotels for its business and family history, its contribution to the creation of wealth and employment in the territory, as well as its commitment to innovation, entrepreneurship, competitiveness and involvement with society.

The awards ceremony took place during the celebration of the XXVIII AEFA Awards gala, in which, in addition to Port Hotels, the companies Plásticas Inden, Avecox and the businessman Rafael Bernabéu Moya were awarded.

The first award went to Port Hotels, which has been honored with the CaixaBank Award in recognition of its ability to diversify and innovate in its sector activity and for its commitment to the territory. The Territorial Director of CaixaBank Valencian Community and Region of Murcia, Olga García, presented the award to Ana Mayor, the Communication and Marketing Directorate of Port Hotels, and the third generation of the Port Hotels family.
