Sustainable boost: modernization and competitiveness plan for the tourism sector
Hotel Port Benidorm has been a beneficiary of the grants awarded for the financing of Energy Efficiency and Circular Economy Projects in Tourism Companies of the Valencian Community, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, financed by the European Union NextGeneration EU, supporting companies in their transition towards more sustainable, competitive and environmentally friendly models, promoting the reduction of consumption, resource optimization and green innovation.
Description of the executed project: improvements to facilities and equipment
Replacement of the DHW (Diesel) energy generator with new aerothermal equipment, with the aim of improving sustainability, reducing energy efficiency and modernizing the facilities. The amount of the aid granted was €119,843.44, corresponding to 100% of the total cost of the project.
