We present the renovation project for the Port Alicante City & Beach hotel located in Playa de San Juan, which is scheduled to reopen its doors at the beginning of next summer as a benchmark hotel for the city of Alicante and its visitors. The main novelties contemplated by the project are the increase in the number of rooms, rising from the current 127 to the 206 planned, in addition to a profound renovation of the design and style. We have opted for more spacious and luminous rooms, where natural materials typical of the Mediterranean environment predominate.
Likewise, a significant expansion of the new restaurant is planned, which will feature Show Cooking and a buffet with diverse options based on natural and healthy recipes traditional to Mediterranean cuisine, where locally sourced products are prioritized. This space is designed to adapt to the preferences of the new 21st-century client: more committed and demanding regarding sustainability.
The outdoor area also presents an innovative redesign, with a new pool with a jacuzzi surrounded by Sunbed areas and Balinese beds, creating a perfect atmosphere of tranquility and rest. Next to this pool, a water play area, as well as a playground, will be located, intended for families with children, a segment with growth potential in the Playa de San Juan area.
The new Port Alicante City & Beach hotel will be crowned by a boho-chic rooftop with a Sky Pool (heated pool) and a Sky Bar designed for a more select public, as well as for local residents who wish to enjoy an ideal gastro-ludic experience in Playa de San Juan.
