Port Hotels has officially presented the new era of Hotel Port Benidorm at an event attended by more than 300 guests, marking the official unveiling of the property following the comprehensive transformation completed this year.
Representatives from institutions, businesses and the tourism sector, industry professionals, partners and members of Alicante society joined the company for an evening designed to showcase the new positioning of one of its most iconic hotels in Benidorm.
The institutional event was hosted by Elena Vidal, influencer and content creator known as Alicante Street Style, and featured speeches by Toni Pérez, Mayor of Benidorm and President of the Alicante Provincial Council; Marian Cano, Regional Minister for Innovation, Industry, Trade and Tourism; and Toni Mayor, President of Port Hotels.
During the presentation, speakers highlighted Benidorm’s evolution as a tourist destination and the commitment to a hospitality model capable of continuing to advance in quality, innovation and the creation of new experiences.
According to Toni Mayor, President of Port Hotels, “There came a point when we realised that simply renovating it was not enough; we had to reimagine it. We set out to transform Port Benidorm into a hotel capable of representing the Benidorm of today and, above all, the Benidorm we want for the future: modern, international, innovative and able to offer ever greater quality and better experiences.”
The celebration gave guests a taste of the spirit that defines this new chapter for the hotel. Gastronomy, live music and a variety of surprises accompanied an evening designed to encourage guests to explore and discover the new spaces at Hotel Port Benidorm.
One of the highlights of the evening was a live painting experience, which gradually took shape before the guests throughout the event, adding an artistic dimension to a celebration defined by connection and experience.
The event brought together institutions, the business community, tourism professionals and wider society around the hotel’s new chapter, turning the property into a meeting point during one of Port Hotels’ most significant evenings in Benidorm.
Hotel Port Benidorm reopened its doors last May following a complete renovation of its rooms, communal areas and outdoor spaces, as well as the addition of the new Sky Tower, which brings the property to 26 floors and increases its capacity to 410 rooms.
The hotel is now structured around two connected towers, The Blue Tower and the new Sky Tower. On the upper floors of the latter is The Iconic by Port Hotels, an exclusive elevated concept comprising 20 rooms with premium services and a more personalised experience.
The transformation also includes new gastronomic, wellness and event spaces, including La Terrasse Rooftop, located across floors 19 and 20, as well as six spaces dedicated to the MICE segment.
With this event, Port Hotels presents the city and the tourism sector with the result of one of its strategic projects in Benidorm, consolidating a new chapter for a property that has been closely linked to the destination for decades and is now looking ahead with a more contemporary vision connected to the Mediterranean.
