Port Hotels, the hotel chain based in Benidorm and present in 6 destinations in the Valencian Community, presents 'Guests of the Planet', a new strategic pillar for its hotel and hospitality business through which to channel all its social responsibility initiatives.
The company encompasses under this new paradigm all the actions it carries out regarding sustainability, social responsibility, and commitment to the territories in which it operates.
Port Hotels has carried out a deep analysis of its activity, leading to the creation of a project that unfolds over six major areas of commitment. The reduction of its CO2 emissions, optimal waste management, water saving, sustainable catering, social responsibility, and the elimination of plastic use are the large pillars on which 'Guests of the Planet' is based.
Likewise, the hotel company has audited the internal work of all its departments to assign, hold accountable, and unite collective efforts. In the words of the Vice President of Port Hotels, Ana Mayor, “the goal is to extend the commitment to all the people who are part of the company. Our purpose is part of the business vision and culture of Port Hotels.” The hotel group also announces its adherence to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations 2030 Agenda. As an integral part of the 'Guests of the Planet' campaign, they assume the commitment to actively contribute to building a more sustainable and equitable future.
