Port Hotels, official sponsor of Elche Club de Fútbol, brought together hundreds of “franjiverde” supporters on Tuesday for a signing event held at the Hotel Huerto del Cura, an occasion marked by excitement and by the excellent moment the club is enjoying in this season of its return to the elite of Spanish football.
The event featured players David Affengruber, Bambo Diaby and Yago de Santiago, who signed autographs and posed for photographs with all the fans who gathered at the emblematic hotel in Elche. The day became the perfect meeting point between the team, its supporters and the city, strengthening the warm and community-focused nature of Port Hotels’ sponsorship.
A strategic and emotional alliance with the city
This initiative forms part of the agreement between Port Hotels and Elche C.F. for the 2025/26 season—an alliance that goes beyond commercial ties and is rooted in shared values such as effort, closeness, hospitality and commitment to the local community.
“For Port Hotels, it is a source of pride to accompany Elche in such a special season for the city. We wanted to share this very positive energy with the fans and continue promoting experiences that reinforce the connection between the team and its people,” said Ana Mayor, the company’s Vice President.
Port Hotels has become one of the club’s most significant supporters in its return to the First Division this season, appearing on the back of the first team’s official shirts, just below the collar. The hotel chain is a benchmark in the Valencian Community and maintains a strong bond with the city of Elche, where it operates three of the area’s most iconic hotels: Huerto del Cura, Port Jardín Milenio and Port Elche, located in the heart of the Business Park.
