The Port Hotels hotel chain, with 11 hotels in the Valencian Community, has received the Excellence Award for Leading Hotel Group within the framework of the sixth edition of the Valencian Community Awards organized by the newspaper La Razón.
The Benidorm-based company originated in the 1960s offering accommodation to tourists in the home of the Mayor Suárez family, when the city did not have enough hotels to meet the growing demand for international tourism.
Today, Port Hotels is one of the leading hotel groups in the Valencian Community with a total of 2,000 rooms distributed in six reference destinations: Dénia, Calpe, Benidorm, Alicante, Elche and Valencia.
The main objective of the chain has always been to bet on quality, friendly holidays with a great local spirit. At the same time, adapting to the different profiles of clients who stay thanks to the variety that it offers in the types of establishments, from urban hotels to vacation hotels, passing through singular hotels that are unique in the world such as the Huerto del Cura hotel. In this sense, Port Hotels also has 5 restaurants and more than 20 rooms to organize events.
