Port Benidorm Hotel & Spa has been recognized with the Bioscore certification, certifying that the establishment meets international sustainability requirements (GRI Standards) in terms of Corporate Social Responsibility, restoration, waste management, as well as water and energy savings.
The Bioscore certification provides hotels and chains with a certification that assesses their level of sustainability, as well as their commitment to society and the environment.
In the case of the Port Benidorm Hotel & Spa, practices such as temperature control through intelligent heating and air conditioning systems, wastewater management, staff training plans and all the initiatives carried out in matter of gender equality, have been taken into consideration.
In addition, the responsible use of water resources in the common areas of the hotel, the implementation of an irrigation system that minimizes water loss, the recycling of plastic, cardboard, glass and organic waste, as well as energy saving systems installed both in common areas and in the rooms themselves, have been assesed.
