Toni Mayor, President of Port Hotels has received the december Importante award of Diario Información on it’s 38th edition.
Importante awards aim to recognise the main actors of the social, political, educational, sports, cultural and business areas of the province.
The award given to Toni Mayor has been the recognition of a lifetime dedicated to tourism. More than 50 years working for the main engine of the province’s economy. His work and commitment has been spread all Around the Valencian Community through HOSBEC, the Hotel and Tourism Business Association of the Valencian Community, which he has lead for 14 years.
In the year of his farewell as HOSBEC president, Toni Mayor assures ‘’This award is not only a recognition for my professional career, it is also a clear evidence of the excellent contributions the tourism has done for the Costa Blanca and the province all these years’’.
Toni Mayor leads Port Hotels, a company made up for 11 hotels in Elche, Alicante, Dénia, Benidorm, Calpe and Valencia which is experiencing its best year, exceeding pre-pandemic levels.
