Benidorm has launched its Low Emission Zone (LEZ) — a measure aimed at reducing pollution in the city centre and promoting more sustainable mobility.
If you're planning to arrive by car and stay at Hotel Port Vista Oro, please read on.
Since 1 July 2025, fines of up to €500 now apply for unauthorised access to the LEZ.
The LEZ is a designated area in central Benidorm with restricted access for high-emission vehicles.
It applies to residents, workers and visitors.
All vehicles entering the zone must be registered, including electric, hybrid and ECO vehicles.
The hotel is located within the LEZ. If you're arriving by car, you must register your vehicle’s number plate.
You can do this yourself before arrival or directly at check-in.
