On 20 June, the restaurant La Taula, located within the Port Jardín Milenio hotel, will host a new edition of its acclaimed Literary Gastronomy Dinners — a series that has become a celebrated meeting point for culture and cuisine in the city of Elche. On this occasion, the guest of honour will be Galician author Manel Loureiro, who will discuss his latest novel, Cuando la tormenta pase (When the Storm Passes), a gripping tale of suspense and emotional tension exploring the boundaries of survival and hope in extreme conditions.
Organised in collaboration with local bookshop Ali i Truc, the evening offers an intimate and exclusive format with limited seating, allowing attendees to enjoy a close and engaging experience with the author. The dinner will begin at 9:00 pm at La Taula, where guests will be treated to a specially curated menu while conversing with Loureiro about his work and his journey as one of the most prominent voices in Spanish-language thrillers.
Manel Loureiro has captivated millions of readers with his suspense novels, many of which have been translated into over a dozen languages. His dynamic, cinematic style has made him a literary phenomenon both in Spain and internationally. His latest book, Cuando la tormenta pase, offers a compelling read that blends action, introspection, and a strong human dimension.
Given the limited capacity and high level of interest, early booking is strongly recommended to secure a place.
