The Huerto del Cura hotel, owned by the Port Hotels hotel chain with 11 hotels in the Valencian Community, is holding its 3rd Welcome to Summer Gala on 2nd May, a charity event, where each year it supports an organisation that stands out for its social work. 

In this edition, the event will have a particularly significant purpose: to raise funds to help the victims of the DANA in the province of Valencia. The aid will be channelled through Cáritas, an organisation with a long history of helping people in vulnerable situations. Thanks to its network of volunteers and resources, Caritas is providing direct support to those affected, providing shelter, food, basic necessities and social accompaniment to help them regain their stability. 

This year, the Welcome to Summer Gala will take another step forward in its consolidation as a benchmark charity event in the Valencian Community, bringing together society in a unique night of commitment and exclusivity. As a great novelty, Anne Igartiburu will be the first ambassador of the gala, a recognition that reinforces the prestige and projection of this charity event. The renowned presenter, a symbol of closeness and social sensitivity, joins this initiative with the aim of giving even more visibility to her cause and to the work of the Hotel Huerto del Cura, which has turned this gala into a platform of real impact. 

An evening of solidarity with the charm of the Orient 

The event consists of a cocktail-style celebration at sunset, with gastronomic stations, open bar and live music. New this year, the organisers have chosen the theme ‘’A Thousand and One Nights‘’ to create a complete experience to transport attendees to the vibrant markets and palaces of ancient Marrakech. The event will feature exquisite flavours of Moroccan cuisine, accompanied by a selection of cocktails inspired by oriental aromas and spices. All this will be part of an evening that will evoke the magic and colours of the Orient. 

The price of each ticket is 50€, 10% of which will be donated to the Caritas Association. The hotel has also set up a zero line where attendees can participate in the donation freely.
